How to make sure you get tracking with Standard Envelope / PWE
Standard Envelope is our low-cost way to get tracked shipping for plain white envelopes (aka PWE). It’s a great way to get USPS tracking for a fraction of the cost of shipping a package via Ground Advantage or other parcel shipping options.
However, sometimes envelopes don’t get that tracking, and status updates don’t come through. Or even worse, the envelope gets returned as being invalid, non-machinable, or requiring more postage. Why?
We did a deep dive on Envelope shipping, testing a dozen different shipping scenarios, including envelope type, packaging, and card sleeve material. In this video we discuss the mechanics of how this shipping option works, how to ensure you get tracking, and the results of our study. If you’ve ever had trouble shipping a PWE — whether through eBay, CollX or any other marketplace — this is a must-watch video!
