2025 Year in Review

2025 is the year Card Dealer Pro graduated from a great tool for bulk IDing and inventorying cards to becoming a true AI-powered inventory management platform. We launched dozens of features on top of CDP’s core bulk-listing functionality. Nothing has been more gratifying to us than seeing longtime CDP users light up new sales channels like CollX and Whatnot, and seeing their sales literally double overnight!

In case you missed any of our updates throughout the year, here’s a recap of the five (5) most popular improvements to CDP in 2025:

1. Inventory Management and API listing to eBay, CollX, Whatnot, & Shopify

On top of building the functionality to bulk-list with one click, we created a sync system to ensure that sales on one channel update across the others. eBay was a given, obviously, but we’ve been blown away to see CollX and Whatnot getting massive adoption! Shopify, our newest API integration, is ramping up, especially with power sellers with very large inventory.

2. Deep Magic Scan

This enhanced scanning mode was rolled out to all CDP users at no additional cost, and led to a radical jump in detection of rare cards — especially those numbered, auto, and relic cards that the software previously struggled to identify. Deep Magic Scan is particularly useful for newly released sets where most cards have no images. You can now open a box, list, and sell, all on release day. We call it #RippedToShipped.

3. Improved Stability and Sync

Our engineering team was hyper-focused on ensuring that listings sold on one platform were delisted on the others. Sync wasn’t perfect at first, but thanks to patience and persistence, we developed fallback steps, hardened the service, and ramped our infrastructure to make it a system you can depend on, 100% of the time.

4. Market Pricing

Maybe the most requested feature in CDP’s history! We rolled out Market Price, which now shows on any card matched to the CDP database. 95.4% of the 26.6M cards in the database have a market price. And we’re constantly improving accuracy, so you can rely on it to quickly price your cards with trusted data. You can even bulk-update listings to the current Market Price (or adjust +/- by a few $ or a few %). Pricing Intelligence is baked into any card added to CDP Inventory.

5. Set Locking

One of the newest additions, and developed originally in partnership with a leading manufacturer in the hobby, Set Locking is the perfect tool for when you're pre-sorting and scanning from one specific set. Set Locking narrows the image- and search-matching, increasing accuracy and speed. Try Set Locking on your next batch today!
